For 15 years, I’ve been immersed in the world of data and analytics.

 

Starting as an analyst, I steadily climbed the ladder, eventually overseeing small data teams and entire data departments.

 

Yet, throughout this journey, I grappled with a common challenge: the scarcity of tailored resources for data leaders like myself.

 

Often, I found myself standing alone—the sole data and analytics leader within my company—facing unique hurdles that demanded innovative solutions.

Driven by a hunger for growth, I embarked on a quest to enhance my leadership skills. I explored every avenue: engaging coaches, seeking out mentors, devouring books, and translating their wisdom into the language of data. These efforts bore fruit—I honed my abilities and achieved success. But the process was arduous. Countless hours were spent piecing together a mosaic of knowledge, building a network, and navigating uncharted waters.

And while I was doing this, I noticed that my direct reports and other leaders in data were struggling with the same challenges I had faced. We were losing talented individuals to burnout or overall lack of new opportunities for them.

My ultimate goal is to help data leaders develop the soft skills, confidence, and vision to thrive in their roles and career. I want to pave the way in developing leaders who not only understand the technical intricacies of data but also possess the strategic mindset and leadership capabilities to drive meaningful change and innovation in their organizations.

I realized that retaining top talent required more than technical expertise—it demanded a holistic approach.
