I’ve been where you are.
I started as a data analyst; I’m now VP of Data, Analytics & AI in Berlin, running a 30-person team, with over 20 years in data leadership across Australia, Canada and Germany. I work with data managers 1–3 years into leadership: the people who got promoted on technical credibility and now have to figure out how to lead.
Why I coach
It started with the hardest people decision I’d ever made.
In 2016 I had to let go of a team member who couldn’t keep up as the work moved past him. After it was done, my head of HR sat down with me and said something I didn’t expect: you’d benefit from a coach. She was right.
The coaching that started in the wake of that moment changed how I lead, and changed what I noticed about other data leaders, who almost universally face the same identity gap and rarely get the help they need to close it. I got IECL-certified in 2023. I now coach the people I used to be.

- Built and led high-performing teams across startups and scaleups
- Coached dozens of analysts, engineers, and scientists into leadership roles
- Worked from individual contributor all the way to VP of Data & Analytics
